Buying or Selling a Vehicle

The following information will assist you with the proper procedures when buying a vehicle in Pennsylvania. The buyer and seller should meet at the office of a notary public, tag service, or motor vehicle dealer to ensure the title application is completed correctly. If the car is financed, the certificate of title in your name will be mailed to the lienholder. If the vehicle is not financed, the certificate of title in your name will be sent directly to you.


 

Acceptable Proof of Ownership Documents

Vehicle ownership documents issued by vehicle manufacturers and titling jurisdictions that provide specific vehicle information and used as the legal document to transfer ownership of the vehicle are known as “proof of ownership” documents. The Spartanburg County coroner says one man is dead after a single vehicle crash within the city Saturday evening.Rusty Clevenger, Spartanburg County coroner, says the crash happened on Fernwood Drive around 7:15 p.m.Clevenger says Lothar Giesbertz, 55, was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.The City of Spartanburg Traffic Division is investigating the crash, the coroner says.

California county says Tesla may not reopen vehicle factory, stifling Musk’s plans

(Reuters) – Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) “must not reopen” its vehicle factory in the San Francisco Bay area as local lockdown measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus remain in effect, the local county health department said on Friday.
